In a surprise move today, president D. J. Trump has declared the saxophone as America’s National Musical Instrument. A holdover from the Clinton presidency, the bill sat in a Oval Office file cabinet until an aide for the Trump admisistration found it during a routine cleaning session.But now it is law. From the straight soprano to the beafy bass, saxophones are now elevated to the esaulted level theu so greatly deserved. No other instrument has the capability of expressing so many emotions, so may feelings, telling so many stories. From growl to squeel there is no rival. Growl, pant, scream, whine, sing, cry, laugh, giggle, swear: a sax can do it all. Bless them.
